what's new, scooby doo?

well, i've had some recent changes: changed my name to willzyx. if you don't quite understand it, it is a whale that was featured on the show south park. and my name's not will in real life, but i don't mind very much if your just using that to call me by in canting or such. secondly, i've changed my view on dungeoneering. i actually like the skill, and it's very fun, but after the first week of it's realease, i realized i'm not quite ready for it. so, i started slaying and doing quests, in that order. i did a few slayer tasks, then realized that i haven't quested in a looong time. so as such, i started. and now i can't stop. i've update my quests completed section as is appropriate, and it will hopefully be mostly filled within the month. geez, it isn't even summer and i'm playing too much 0.0 anyways, i have a bunch of school left til summer break. around 35 days of actual school days until i'm done. ugh, well, til then...

Dungeoneering...

From what I've done ( Spent 3 solid hours on getting a meager level 6 :/) Dungeoneering is an epic fail. I know some people absolutely love doing all the puzzles, and killing the monsters, and then getting 100xp, but I don't like it. Mostly because it has no real practical use. Yeah, you can get Gem Bags at level 20! That's only going to take a solid 12 hours of playing. Then you also have to get a buttload of tokens. i'm not sure exactly how long it takes to get tokens at higher levels, but I have like 10? Something like that. But what else will Dungeoneering do for us? Will they release new areas? How long will it take? If it took (taking a guess) a year and a half to make Daemonheim, what about other places to train? How will this prove useful in a quest? Dungeoneering to me seems like what would be looting (thieving) although it isn't that. It's exploring. Don't you explore in quests? Don't you explore Falador when looking around for that darn polar bear in the well? And what about higher levels. If you can unlock things up to 65, what will higher levels bring us? Stronger monsters for us to fight? This doesn't seem anything like a skill. It's barely a minigame at that. I know others will flame me for this, and some will support me, and some will see the title and say "F*** that", but to me, and a large majority of the Runescape Community, this is not a skill. Sorry JaGex, up you just demolished all the waiting all your players have had. Good job.

Holy Bananas

Wow, I haven't posted for a LONG time. - Takes a quick look at the sidebar - HOLY BANANAS! THIS BAD BOY IS OUTDATED! - Quickly updates it - OK, now where do I begin...

It was a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away.... duh duh duhhhh --- WAIT! Wrong music... Let's try this again...

Well, well, well. Runescape has been very kind to me since my last post. Based on the sidebar, I've gained roughly...77 levels :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D I'm a little proud about that. I've completed quite a few more quests, but haven't been in a questing mood lately. Currently have 237 QP, but later tonight I'm going to attempt 4 "nooby" quests. Spirits of the Elid; Perils of Ice Mountain; Rune Mechanics; and Tears of Guthix. Felt like shortening my list to the beautiful Quest Cape :D That's my goal for the end of the year, by the way. I feel it is highly possible...

In other news... During Bonus XP, I got the highly coveted 68 Summoning...and yes, that means BUNNNYYIIIIPPPPP! And I named my Bunyip: Herming. I like it, even though it isn't a real name.

Well that's about it... Welcome me back to Runescape Blogging...

As for now...(Wow, there are many elpises [sp?] in this post...:p)

Hello.

So recently I've completed a meager 4 quests >.<>
Ratcatchers: What can I say? Oh, I know! Pain! In! My! Ass! This quest was unbearingly boring, and it didn't help that I spent half an hour giving Ali the Snake Charmer my hard earned cash to realize that I have to first talk to 'The Face'. Did anybody else notice that each person hd rat-like features. That, my friend, is a true WTF moment.

Defender of Varrock: Ah! I absolutely LOVED this quest. I only did it for the Mining XP so I can do Lunar Diplomacy, but wow, I'm stunned about this quest. I think it has one of the best plots of all the quests. It's very original, and now I can try to start keeping up with the Mysteries of the Mahjaraat. (sp?) The only part I didn't enjoy was getting called a noob by the Armoured Zombies. So what if I feel like wearing Boots of Lightness, a Spotted Cape, and Red D'Hide? I'm not going to risk my armour if I can easily get by on just this. And I didn't bring a Salve Amulet. Oh well. ALSO! I enjoyed that I never dismissed Hartwin because when I went to the Sacred Forge it looked like he was umm "futt bucking" me. Figure that riddle out on your own.

Enahkra's Lament: This quest was alright. Didn't really see a big plot, although I see how it can unravel into one. OH. If you haven;t noticed, I read through the text in quests :] After banking to get a THIRD soft clay ( made first two into the stupid moulds ), I received the PWNage Camel Hat.

Lunar Diplomacy: I'm getting tired so this is going to be quick: The plot was meh. Cool new island. The challenges were a pain. Got a 1337 outfit. Made 25 Lunar Staves. The End.

Also in other news: I finally unlocked 500 songs. This was accomplished by going to all the bars on Runescape that had songs available, and hitting up the Bounty Hunter worlds. Mission accomplished. Time to rock on!

As for now.....(like the new ending? peaceout homeslices was getting old....)

More Quests!

Although not as many as my last post, I have completed a few quests. I firstly completed Royal Trouble, which I fairly enjoyed. The obvious Scooby Doo references enlightened me. It also has a nice reward. I then completed Mountain Daughter, which I enjoyed. Next, I did Shades of Mort'ton. This was fairly easy (especially after I realized to go to World 77). I then completed Myths of the White Land, which annoyed me. Then I did the quest that annoyed me the most. I know it is fairly easy, but I just fudged up so many different times. This quest was: The Tourist Trap. It was al good until I had to get Ana out of the Slave Cave (trademarked), and I kept on screwing up, thus having to mine 15 rocks. After 2 hours, it was done. Then I started to get my crafting up for Lunar Diplomacy. I have a few longterm quest goals. I'm going to list them here, and then somewhere on the sidebar, and put a little check or something next to them as I complete them.

- Blood Runs Deep
- Contact!
- Curse of Arrav
- Dealing with Scabaras
- Desert Treasure
- Devious Minds
- Dream Mentor
- Forgiveness of a Chaos Dwarf
- Glorious Memories
- Great Brain Robbery
- Grim Tales
- (Finish up) Haunted Mine
- Legacy of Seergaze
- Legends' Quest
- Lunar Diplomacy
- Mourning's End Part I
- Mourning's End Part II
- Ratcatchers
- Recipe for Disaster
- Regicide
- Rocking Out
- Shadow of the Storm
- Swan Song
- The Temple at Senntisten
- While Guthix Sleeps
- Within the Light

Quite a hefty list. After I finish the easier of the quest, I'm going to return to Slayer for a little. By a little, I mean get all of my melee skills to 80 and my Summoning to 70 and my Prayer to 65. This is definitely my goal for 2010. Also I will put in any quests to be later released. As for now, peace out homeslices.

Help.

If anybody knows how to get this picture on my sidebar or whatever is over to the right, please tell me. Thanks :]

Questing...

Well I've been questing lately. A lot. Possibly too much. In the past two days I've completed a total of 6 quests: Shilo Village, One Small Favour, and King's Ransom were the first three. If you didn't recognize it, I'm preparing for when the Court Cases come out :D Shilo Village was an interesting quest, but I wasn't too fond of it. One Small Favour was humorous and all together a good quest, it was just a giant pain in the ass to wlak all around Gielinor.(sp?) I enjoyed King's Ransom soooo much. It's on the list of my top favorite quests, along with Cold War, Red Raktuber, Darkness of Hallowvale, and Forgettable Tale of a Drunken Dwarf. As for the remaining three, they were Fairytale Part II, Between a Rock, and Back to my Roots. I started Fairytale Part II awhile ago just to gain access to the Fairy Rings, but never finished an account of my Herblore level. So two days ago I mustered up about 2M, and got 57 Herblore. I enjoyed the quest, although it was rather short. I did this purely for the preparation of Fairy Tale III. I then proceeded to complete Between a Rock... with my friend. I enjoyed that quest, but I'm still not sure how to get out of the mine other than logging out >.< I then did Back to My Roots. This quest was weird because it was awfully easy, but the reward was exceptional. I'm in the midst of completing Royal Trouble, and I'll probably gonna have a few more completed by my next post :] As for now, peace out homeslices.

Success!

Yesterday, I did it: I acquired a Fighter Torso. I feel like I've jumped up a whole noob tier, going from ch00b right up to a good ol' regular player. Now I just need like 35m to get all I want in RS life. >.< I'm also planning on starting Regicide, but I've been feeling a slight attraction to Cave Horrors. My friend told me about them, and I did a bunch last night. Alas, no coveted Black Mask :[ However, I do have another Super Set in my bank, so I'm planning on going back to Mos Le' Harmless today, and maybe get a Black Mask! As for now, peace out homeslice.

FFS!

I dont know about any of you, but has anyone played Barbarian Assault lately? I'm a level 97, not a bad level for the game, but I ALWAYS LOSE. Why? Because 1 out of every 2 people playing that game are either inept at the game, never call, never have two healers on waves 8+, and are noobs. It makes me SOOO mad. I just recently got my friend a fighter torso, and he's a level 113. I got it fairly quick for him, mostly because all the high level people picked him up because he is a higher level. It's not fair that I always get the level 70's being Attacker on the Queen Wave, while I'm just trying to win. I already have half of the points towards a Torso (I have Defender and Collector) and I'm about halfway full for Healer. I've been on Wave 9 for at LEAST 10 games. I would wait for JaGex to update Barbarian Assault as planned, but I don't want to wait that long. I also don't want to go there and even MORE noobs are there. I just asked some kid on my team to switch to Healer because there were two Attackers on the team, ( he was one of them, level 78 :/) and said he didn't know how. He also didn't know how to call. I am insanely pissed off at this game. I even got as mad as to hit my keyboard, upon which the left hand side Shift key popped off. What do you think I should do: Grind until the torso, or wait for the update?

I'mmmmmmmmmm Back !

I lasted one month without membership. Then my friends restarted playing. I decided "what the hay" and bought a one-month membership card from my friend. Yeah, well that's about it. Now for what I've been doing is Evil Trees and Woodcutting. Nothing special. I proably will not beupdating this blog a lot, but I'll try. Welcome me abck home, Gielinor!

The End

Sadly, I've decided to cancel my RuneScape membership. There has just not been anything interesting recently, and I've really not had time for it. I'm sure gonna miss it, but life will go on. If anybody has an Xbox LIVE Gamertag, you can communicate with me on there, if you want, aha. My gamertag is "G1BBLE" . I'm tearing up as I'm writing this, and I would like to let you know that I'm going to miss you all who I've communicated with in RuneScape, and all who post blogs (even though i will probably still read them), and Jagex for letting me enjoy this experience for as long as I have. So, for a final time, I bid thee well, have fun in RuneScape, peaceout homeslices.

The Adventurer's Log

Well, a long awaited for update has arrived: The Adventurer's Log. What is this, you say? It's something that will make many Runescape players cringe, and maybe cry, as it shows them many things, but the most frightening of which is: How long they have played. I'm surprised that I have only played a slim 32 days, just over a month. But all of teh forumz people are telling how long they have played. 180 days. 235 days. 300 days. If I had anywhere near 100 I would definitely take a two month break from Runescape and join like 20 extracurricular activities just so I don't feel guilty for spending so much time inside. The Adventurer's Log also has other cool features. It shows people all your stats, like the hiscores, it shows them what quests you have done, your forum avatar, face and body, your recent level ups, and if your logged on to your own account, you can be immediately linked to your other friend's logs ( as long as they are a member, of course =p) The only reason I even found out about this is because I was creeping on teh forumz when I saw like 3,000,000 threads saying stuff like " I QUIT 182 DAYS PL0X!!!!!1". Thank you Jagex, for this (not so) hidden update. I'll surely be checking on it regularly.

Changes...

Upon reading Vaskor's recent post about Runescape blogs, and reading the comments, I've decide to change the reason of my blog. Instead of saying " I got level 64 Fishing today !" I'm going to say something along the lines of "Don't you hate it when a random gets you in the middle of a boss fight." or something like that. I'm gonna decide to talk about the little things in Runescape: the things that might tick you off, the things that make you smile, the things that inspire you. Well, I might not post everyday now, but I'll try to never have a gap of more than 3 days. Well, peaceout homeslice.

Bah !

ok, so i bought 5 pairs of dragon boots the other day because they were rising at a constant rate. i kept an eye on them and it was all good, until i woke up this morning. they plummeted like 30k each, resulting in me losing a chunk of cash, but i digress.

ok so some other things. i tried to do fishing but realized that whenever i went to another tab to look at something (i.e. facebook =) ) i timed out, so i just bought 10k iron ores (z0mg !) and im gonna smelt them and hammer them out for a) the cash and b) the experience ! i got this idea from Men Shen/Kitt Fox but i just doubled it because i am a) an uber noob b) an overachiever and c) a dumbass =]

peaceout homeslice.

Back in the Jist of Things...

Well, over the weekend I didn't do much. I was trying to get back into RuneScape, so I started Ranarr farming. It turned out pretty good, as I now have just under 3M. Sadly, Abyssal Whips are roughly 3.5M. It's crazy that a few months ago these things were bordering under 1M. I think I might just starts slaying with a Dragon Scimmy, and we'll see what goes on from there. In level up news, I hit 56 Farming when I first started farming. It turns out that if my whole plan about planting Kwuarms would've worked, I would've had to go plant a tree just to be able to plant them. Well, peace out, homeslice.

Wednesday, October 14, 2009

wow, where has the time gone ?

whoa. i haven't been doing something proactive on runescape in about 2 1/2 weeks. this is pitiful. the last thing i remember doing is trying to buy some kwuarm seeds after the herblore update. i remember merch gwyar saying something about how the prices of herbs will go up, so i did some research and found out that kwuarms were good money normally, so i bought about 200 seeds. well, i put the money in. i got about 3 seeds everytime i put a new offer up because the prices were changing quicker than the kwuarms were selling. im hoping to get some things done this weekend. maybe ill get back into questing. i really want to do regicide, so maybe ill train my agility at the barbarian course. once i do regicide, ill be happy because ill have access to all the penguins for penguin hunting. (at least i think all of the penguins o.0) meh, runescape just hasnt done anything update-wise for me. im sure if i had high herblore, i would be happy, or if i had done MEPII, i would be happy. also, i changed my name a while back to gladon one (as opposed to gladon 1) but im thinking of either a) changing it back or b) changing it to something else, but i would like to keep with the "gladon" in one way or another. if you have any ideas (if anyone reads this, should i say) please comment, as gladon one just looks, well, off. as for now, peace out homeslice.

Gladon 2

I did it. I tried out the new tutorial, with a fun little freebie account, Gladon 2. Real original, huh? Well that's all for now. I'm not actually done with the tutorial at the moment, but I'll have an analysis tomorrow when I actually finish it. I had about enough time to make the account and give it a look.

Blah!

Haven't had enough free time during the school week and the weekend, even with the extra day off for Yom Kippur. ( I'm not Jewish so it's basically a free day) So I DID manage to get the 375 points for being the Defender. That's good seeing as how the hardest part was done. I'm planning on doing Healer and Attacker next, then saving Collector for last seeing as how it is the easiest and the points will stack up like that. In other news, I managed to find my kingdom empty of the 500k i deposited the other week and I found about 30k worth of junk left in it's place, so I decided to switch over to Herbs and deposit another 500k in. I logged out and came back in later to find about 30k of stuff already, and about 10k out of the coffers. This is a boring post, but I'm planning on doing some more exciting things during the week. I'm trying to find something now, and seeing as how I spent an hour trying to find a team for Wave 7 after I got the Defender points and left the team I was on, I assure you I'm taking this week off of BA.

Here It Comes... =[

I've decided it: I'm going for a fighter torso. The Rune Plate is fine, but it cuts into my whip funds by an amount just large enough to effect it. Plus, if i get the torso, I would feel accomplished and MAYBE, just maybe, finish a goal I set out to do.

This would be my second time doing Barbarian Assault, and I did hear that Jagex will be updating it soon, or something like that. Let's just hope it's not right after I get the torso, because they'll probably make something easier or something >.<

Oh yeah, if anybody is interested in buying about 4000 pineapple slices, just ask. I'll accept about 275k for them, just to get them off my hands. Or if anybody is selling about 4000 plain pizzas, I'll pay whatever you want. Thanks.

Why Waste a Post?

Didn't really do anything today. Did two games of The Great Orb Project, but they both ended after like the 3rd round because people are d-bags. Made roughly 125k though, which is pretty nice for about 20 minutes work. Hopefully will do more tomorrow, but since I have school and work, It'l probably be about 3-4 games of The Great Orb Project.

Runecrafting Can Be Fun?

I just made the greatest discovery: Runecrafting can be fun and profitable at the same time. The answer? The Great Orb Project. I was downloading a game on XBOX with my friend, and it was taking a real long time. He used to play RuneScape, so i suggested a game of The Great Orb Project. The main world for that minigame is OFFLINE, so I decided to do it myself on the members world. I made 150k in 15 minutes of work. All I did was make like Chaos & Nature Runes, and then use my tokens on the Pure Essence.

In other news, I did some odd jobs during the day. Did Penguins and got 52 Summoning, Did an Evil Tree and got 64 Woodcutting, got a little experience in Firemaking, did the previously mentioned Runecrafting. Phew! What a day. ( Even though it's like nothing, just a lot of running around getting stuff.

Not Much.

Haven't played a lot today. Got on for about ten minutes to get to the house portal, than had to get off for work. Then when I got back, I went out to play manhunt for a few hours, and just got home a little while ago. So far I've done about 200 teleport tablets, out of 3000. I'm aiming for 1500 tonight, and I'm posting this now because after I'm done on Runescape I'm hitting the hay because I'm dead tired.

Thursday, September 17, 2009

Argh!!!

Trolls are probably the most annoying Slayer task ever. I'm waaaaaaay too lazy to go to Trollheim, and the trolls on Neitiznot own my uber noob. I've decided to take a SLIGHT break from Slayer, and just make a couple thousand Falador teleport tablets. I know, I can never stick to anything, but I need this money. Slayer will be SOOOOO much easier with a whip.

The Objective System is cool. It's sort of similar to the Goals on Runewise, but this is slightly better as it shows what reasons there are for going that next level, or completing that next quest. My set objective (for my personal time frame of the end of the month) is 300k Attack experience, resulting in 75 Attack. I won't have enough dough for a Godsword, but hey, I can technically wield one. I'll be proud of that. It's cool. Right? Right?? RIGHT?!?!

Wednesday, September 16, 2009

w00t!

Made roughly 170k off my Brine Rats task. Now I have trolls. I'm thinking of going over to Neitiznot and pwning major Female Trolls. They will only be ale to hit two on me with my awesome, powerful, defensive, .... Fremmy Round Sheild. Hah. Got about 160 of them, hopefully I make some money. Oh, I'm gonna gt 72 Attack and 57 Slayer. Sorry about not being able to show any pictures yet. I promise I'll be able to by the end of the month.

Tuesday, September 15, 2009

That's It.

OK, just plain out doing all this random stuff is getting annoying. For the time being, I'm jsut going to use a Dragon Scimmy instead of a whip, as I'll be training Slayer, Attack, Hitpoints, and saving money for the Whip. Hopefully merchanting will be done soon. And by soon I mean tomorrow's update. That's all for now. Oh, I got 136 Brine rats. Finally, some money. =]

Monday, September 14, 2009

****!

God Dammit! It's been a whole day and not one plain pizza has been bought on the GE. I cut up all 2000 pineapples, resulting in 8000 pineapple slices. I did make money there, but I could've had about 9 mil at the moment. It doesn't help that the shops don't have unlimited stock anymore. The Warrior's Guild shop sold pizzas, and was right next to the bank. Now they sell ten at a time and take FOREVER to respawn. This sucks so much. This would've been my big plan that I wouldn't have given up on.

Oh well. Looks like I'm going to be spending my next few days at Port P. 2500 steel bars sin't much, but it'll make me enough money to start effectively training Slayer with a whip.

I wonder what the Twitter hint means. It's in German, but it goes along the lines of " The next update is about rolling stones." People are saying it's the new tab, which I am going with. But in the last Q&A, I believe Mod Fetzki said that a fishing update was right around the corner. Woo Hoo. Now there will be a few more things crossed off the Chaos Elemental's briefcase pictures. Mining ( Dragon Pickaxe) Fishing ( Whatever the next thing is haha) and umm my guess would be that tomorrow's update has to do with the list of rock stars. Unless that was what the Fishing & Mining was. Oh well, too lazy to check it out.

Sorry, Blame It On Me

No need to fret, all no people that read this. I did NOT give up on this blog. I just really haven't done anything exciting. Until today. Today, I decided I needed money. And I want to finish Recipe for Disaster. So I thought let's kill two birds with one stone. I'm gonna make pineapple pizzas. I'm gonna make approximately 600 gp per pizza, and I'm gonna be making about 8000 pizzas. This will get me a chunk of change, and 70 Cooking. W00t. Awesome. Well that's all for today.

Grindin'!

Kay, so since the new dwarf quest is coming out "within a few weeks", I thought "How about get my hunter level to 61", one of the quests requirements. So I set out to the World Wide Web to find a Hunter training guide. Go to the RuneScape Wikipedia link, and to my shock, till level 53 I have to hunt PENGUINS! How cruel, I thought. So I set out with my noose wand and net trap supplies, and shortly arrived at the Iceberg. Hopped over the ice poles? idk hah. Well, you don't kill the penguins, you release them. And If you give Jim the Polar Bear a KGP Agent, you get 2 whole experience! w00t! Well yeah I'll soon be off to Chinchompas (double w00t!) and be making some money in Hunter finally. I just hope I get to level 61 before the quest's release, which I have a sneaky suspicion is this week. Well, we'll find out. Peace Home Dawgs.

Dippity Doo Dah

Well ranarrs are plummeting in price so i sold my remaining 50 or so seeds and my 150 ranarrs, making about 50k. Then I decided for fun to do some D & D. So I headed over to EvilTreeChat. Man, Evil Trees are a good way for Woodcutting at my level (63). I've got like 50k so far from the two Evil Trees themselves and using the Leprechauns magic to auto-bank the Willows I then chopped. I plan on doing this for a little bit just to get to a mediocre Woodcutting level. I've been on and off the High Scores for a while now.

RuneTek 5

Well, as you should know, unless you've been living on Ice Mountain, RuneTek 5 came out! And I love it! I play in Standard Detail as my laptop's graphics card sucks, I lag anytime there are more than three people near me. I logged onto Hgh Detail first to compare it to the new Standard Detail. HD wasn't affected much, but, man, SD was. It's so bright and it has little bit of a cartoon-ish feel, which matches the recent health bar update nicely.

In other news,I noticed I'm pretty poor. With a rough estimate of about 3M in everything I have, I have to make some money so I can continue Slayer with my Whip. So I've turned to Ranarr Farming. I've done this in the past, and have gotten mad at it because at one point all my crops died in one run one time. So far I've done three runs ( with 4 crops to pick leftover form my last run =]) and have only let 3 patches die out. I'm aiming for 5M by the time school starts next week. This'll be hard, but well worth it since Idon't have much to do other than hanging with my friends.

Oh, I forgot to mention. I love the new login screen. =]
